Where our clothing is made

Shanelle & Jac clothing ranges are made by our partners overseas under fair trade terms and conditions.

The manufacturing factory we partner with is CERTIFIED and follow the below in practice:
– Employment is freely chosen and no forced or child labour.
– Working condition is safe and hygenic for them and their family.
– Fair living wages to all the farmers and workers in the manufactory factory.
– While the apparels go through the testing phase, they try to minimise waste and for any discharges are donated to the Women’s Refugee and Orphanages.
– Our clothing has no toxic heavy metals, pesticides or nasty chemicals like traditional cotton garments
– All of our garments are printed using eco-friendly dyes
– Paper or cardboard is used in packaging material, hang tags, swing tags etc. which must be recycled or certified according to FSC or PEFC
– Our courier bags, wrapping paper, stickers and cotton ribbon are sealed with eco-friendly and compostable materials.

We have dedicated ourselves to building a long-term relationship with our partners and supplies overseas, committed to ethical trade and sharing a wider sustainability vision. Our partners share the same passion, or our garment won’t exist. All of our partners abide by a strict code of conduct like ensuring workers are getting paid above the legal wage, fair working hours, no child labour, health and safety checks regularly, etc. They are all registered.
